President Søren Petersen

Søren Petersen founded ingomar&ingomar consulting in 1993 and has worked with international organizations in Denmark, Michigan and California, including Rambøll Group, Steelcase, BMW Group DesignworksUSA and Copenhagen Business School.

At Ramboll he was responsible for façade engineering on Dr Byen’s interior climate improvement and for developing CAD strategies for offshore windmills.

At BMW Group DesignworksUSA Soren was responsible for project management, mechanical engineering, and ergonomic simulations and was a key figure in developing the HUD system for BMW Williams F1. He participated in developing products for BMW, Rolls Royce and many third-party clients. He also facilitated implementation of the DesignworksUSA Sustainable Management System.

Prior to establishing ingomar&ingomar consulting, Soren worked as an engineer and designer at CERN, Steelcase, EDGE Design, RKS Design, Hauser Design and BMW Group DesignworksUSA.

Soren graduated from Stanford University, Center for Design Research, in 2009, with a PhD. in developing metrics and decision methods for design concept selection in the conceptual phase of new product development. He received his MS. Mechanical Engineering degree from the Danish Technical University in 1990 and a BS in Transportation Design from Art Center College of Design in 1993.

Researcher Christian R Hansen

15 years experience in product development of consumer products

Christian Ruegaard Hansen has over 15 years experience with product development and industrial design, working at Christian Bjørn Design A/S, CPH Design A/S and at VELUX A/S.

Clients at Christian Bjørn Design and CPH Design include the following companies Scandinavian Airlines, Kompan Playgrounds, Hennes & Mauritz Clothing Company, Louis Poulsen Lamps and Light and baggage handling projects at Copenhagen Airport.

At VELUX, Roof windows and Skylights, Christian developed products for future business areas, such as new automation of windows functions, integration sensor techniques in windows and introducing new accessories for windows.

Developing User Based Innovation-methods and working with User Driven Innovations has always been key to Christian’s formula for success as well as all the well-known basic elements within integrated development.

As a project manager, Christian handled $3,000,000.00 projects that came in on time and within budget. 

Christian holds a M.Sc. mechanical engineering from The Technical University of Denmark and has over twenty years of professional experience in his field.
